Waist Cinchers Give You Perfect Curvy Shape

Waist cinchers provide another option for people who wish to acquire slimmer looks without having to diet or visit the gyms for workouts.

Dieting is a trick practice for those who wish to get rid of the belly fats, because one easily gets tired of measuring the diets and eventually gives up. The waist cinchers are of much help for such a person because it is a garment that the gives the slimmer and healthier appearance.

Waist Cinchers

The garment is for hiding the fatty midsections of the body by holding it tightly into position. The garments use specific fabrics such as polyester, nylon, silk, latex or Lycra.

Historically, the manufactures of cinchers have come up with numerous unique designs.
Some with closure mechanisms with front hook or the common Velcro fastening system, while others were single pieces like a tube.

Comfort is an important factor in designing garments and therefore, the cinchers have linings on the inside for the provision of a natural body contour.

The garments are best suited for the areas above the hips and below the breasts to cover the torso and therefore, hide the packets of fats and visible flabs on the body. Most people wear waist cinchers with other body enhancers such as the corsets and girdles. In comparison to the modern days, the traditional waist cinchers were worn on other garments to act as belts.

They had a ribbon design for holding the pants, shorts or skirts into position and were therefore, like the current natural cloth enhancers, for instance, the belts. The modern waist cinchers are worn under the garments and the designs cares for the light wears as well. The silk design is common for the sunny weather because it is unnoticeable even under light fabrics.

The initial thought for designing the waist cinchers was to enhance the beauty of a woman by emphasizing on the waist. Today there are a number of uses of the garment compared to the initial historical attraction needs.

Uses of waist cinchers

1.) The garment is part of the stimulating outfit made of laces and garters; hence, it falls under the category of lingerie contrary to items for altering the body shape.

2.) Secondly, they are shape enhancers and thus will assist in finding new attractive looks or postures.

3.) Thirdly, they assist in strengthening the abdominal muscles and are consequently, efficient for women who have given birth in regaining shapes.

4.) Lastly, they stabilize weak backs and thus relieve the aches by offering stable support to the abdomen, backs and generally the lower body.

The first step in acquisition of waist cinchers is to consider its purpose. Medically recommended cinchers are stronger for the back support and are not lacy, while those for fashion are lighter, often have laces and come in a variety of fabrics although sculpts cinchers are made of stronger fabrics such as cotton.

In most cases, they are maybe of a mixture of fabrics especially the spandex for required elasticity. Whether meant for health care, fashion or appearance enhancement, the cinchers are very useful for the current busy lifestyles.

How to Make Fashion Your Slave

We all have to wear clothes. Some of us just have more fun with that fact than others. Okay, first things first Nobody is forcing you to care about fashion if you really don’t want to. But after you read what Brandon Holley has to say, you might realize you’re missing out on some fun.

Brandon is the editor-in-chief of the ELLE girl magazine, a teen fashion and beauty magazine that “celebrates an independent attitude with an international flair.” Here’s what Brandon says:

fashion slave

Don’t be a slave to fashion. Instead, make fashion your slave. Our philosophy at ELLE girl is to get up each day and dress yourself in a way that expresses you on that given day.

People sometimes dismiss fashion as unimportant. But fashion is not shallow, not superficial — if you look at it the right way. Fashion gives you a great opportunity for freedom of self-expression. Autonomy starts with your mind, of course but it can be very much reflected in what you wear. When you dress independently, you tend to think freely. You develop your own personal style.

Style isn’t just what you put on your body. Fashion is what you wear; style is what you emanate. Style is more than simply your clothing, but it also consists of the conversations you have, the way you conduct yourself, the way you move. Audrey Hepburn was so much more than her Givenchy wardrobe; she had true style. The way you walk through your high school with your head up, shoulders back — that will be what clinches your style.

Here are some of Brandon’s ways to have fun with your style:

Dress to express your mood.
Check your mood and then dress to reflect how you feel. Maybe today you feel Marilyn Monroe glam. Tomorrow you’ll feel Vintage. The next day you’ll be Peasant. Just get into the mood, get into character and dress the part.

Don’t be a fashion lemming.
If everyone else is carrying around the same bag, carry a different one. Don’t feel you have to dress like the in-crowd if you don’t feel like it. Be your own person, and don’t feel pressured to conform. I just got together with some of my friends from high school. We were the girls who dressed, well, different from everyone else in school.

Although we took great pride in how we looked, we didn’t bend to the trends. And now, we’re all very successful in what we do and lead creative, interesting lives. We are not like some of our classmates that always went along with the crowd, who are now still part of the crowd in boring jobs. This was the path, my friends and I all discovered that we took in life – still one of the being independent and interesting.

Experiment with fashion.
When you’re a teen, fashion is your oyster. All opportunities are open to you now to try new things with your hair, your clothes. You’ll make some fashion mistakes, but that’s fine; at least you tried. You aren’t supposed to just wake up one day and know your perfect style.

Mix it up.
Style doesn’t mean buying only clothes with labels or designer brands. It might be a jacket from your dad’s closet and your grandmother’s brooch, paired with a button-down white shirt and jeans. Girls with style today are mixing it up, wearing DKNY pants with a shirt from a vintage store that cost $2. They’re wearing their dad’s button-down shirts, his tie as a belt, their own jeans—and looking great!

Be inspired by fashion.

I’m a fashion-magazine junkie but there are other ways I get inspired as well. Here are some of them:

Watch fashion shows for fun and for ideas. I like to go to fashion shows of my favorite designers, like Marc by Marc Jacobs. It doesn’t change my life, but it’s fun and exhilarating to be in this creative environment. There is an enormous amount of artistic expression and there are so many buzzes surrounding the event.

However, you don’t have to actually go to a fashion show to have fun with them. You can read about them in magazines and online.

And you can look at more than the clothes and the trends. I admire the creativity and individuality in the shows and the photography. I love to see how the different photographers take pictures of the same model walking down the runway, and then interpret it so that each ends up telling a different story.

Look to the past.
This idea is from Jennifer Brandt, one of our contributors. Go to the library and check out fashion books from different eras. Grab what appeals to you, say, some sixties new wave French books. Xerox the pages you find inspiring. And buy some old magazines from the sixties and seventies from a used bookstore (you also can get them on eBay, but they tend to be expensive there). Look through them for style inspiration.

Make an Inspiration Board.

I have my fashion editors make an Inspiration Board before every shoot. Here’s a way you can adapt it for yourself. You’re going to pretend you’re a fashion stylist. Go into your closet and say you have twenty items, pull them out. Then raid your mom’s closet (with permission, of course) and your dad’s, for things like a tie you like, button-down shirts, and big jackets. Now . . .

1. Lay out all the clothes around you in your room.
2. Put the pieces together to make different outfits.
3. Experiment with different looks.
4. Take a Polaroid or a regular photo of each outfit.
5. Hang all the pictures on the inside of your closet door, on your wall, on your bulletin board.
6. Label the photos according to what mood or look, they seem to fit.
7. On the days, you don’t know what you want to wear, or feel uninspired, you can look at your Inspiration Board and say, “Oh! That’s today!”

You can even take it a step further and put up pictures of not just clothing, but anything that inspires you—record covers, celebrities,. . . Hey, it could be pictures of Gandhi. Whatever inspires you!

Get your friends in on it.
Sleep over at a friend’s house and put together an outfit of her clothes for you to wear. Then hit your closet for her wardrobe. Wear your “new” outfits to school. (A random funny thing to do is to go into the girl’s bathroom and trade outfits with your friend.

Then walk out and pretend like nothing happened and everything’s totally normal. See if anyone notices!) Get together with your friends for a photo shoot. Take pictures of yourselves in different fashions.

Learn how to Accentuate a Small Butt

In this day and age, the media have really made people look at being slim as being pretty. More people are doing all they can to become slimmer. However, this is not true for everyone since some people are spending sleepless nights trying to find out how to accentuate a small butt.

how-to-Accentuate-a-Small-ButtNot to worry since there are various things a person can do to make their butts look bigger. You will not even be required to do any form of surgery or extreme exercise to achieve this look.

To begin with dress in clothes that fit you perfectly. A small butt can actually look gorgeous when a person wears clothes that draw attention to it. Avoid dressing up in clothes that are either too tight or too baggy.

Draw attention to your butt by wearing clothes that have beautiful prints, strips or patterns. Such clothes will draw attention away from the size of your butt and have people actually concentrate more on the outfit. The clothes you wear from your waist down should be light in color. Bright colors reveal more of your physical features contrary to the darker shades which tend to hide.

When shopping for jeans buy those ones that have tiny pockets positioned high above the butt. You can also wear jeans that have flapped pockets, which equally do wonders in bringing out your butt thereby making it look bigger. Avoid big pockets as they create the opposite effect thereby making your behind even look smaller.

Aside from the jeans, you can also wear padded underwear, which instantly increases the size of your behind. Other than providing you with comfort, they help to fill up your clothes a bit more. As much as you may have a small butt, you can give it a fine shape by regularly performing some butt exercises that help you develop butt muscles. Some of the exercises you can perform include squats, lunges, volleyball and hiking.

Some fabrics such as Lycra are known to draw out clothes such as jeans thereby making your butt look much smaller than it really is. The best fabrics are those that glide to your body and also appear shiny, a good example of such would either be silk or satin. When it comes to selecting jackets for yourself, choose the ones that reach the waistline or just an inch below it. This helps to draw the eyes to your behind thereby making it more visible.

Go for skirts, which are fuller. These types of skirts are usually more fitting at the waist but widen out as you move towards the bottom part, they create an illusion of a bigger behind.
